Simply put, microneedling is a minimally invasive skin treatment, where a medical device is used for the insertion of very fine needles into the skin, for the purposes of skin rejuvenation through the induction of newly formed collagen.
Microneedling uses your body’s own natural healing process to promote skin repair through the formation of new collagen which reduces the appearance of wrinkles, loss of skin volume, crepey skin and Acne scarring. This result is a thicker, more supple, cellular matrix and visibly younger looking skin.

The Micro Needles on the Dermaroller® hand piece cause minimally invasive precision micro-injuries of the epidermis and dermis, without causing open wounds or ablative damage. Results may be noticed within as little as 1 week post-treatment, however it can take as long as 12 weeks to see the full effects.

While some may see results after just one treatment, for optimal results, Collagen induction usually requires 3 treatments, while scar reduction requires between 3 and 6 treatments. 4 to 6 weeks should pass between one treatment and the next.
The skin is cleaned and afterwards numbed with an appropriate numbing cream so it should not hurt at all. Some people report a light prickling sensation.
Your treatment begins with cleaning of the skin, followed by an application of numbing cream to decrease sensation during the treatment.
Most people will notice redness and a tight skin feeling similar to slight sunburn for 24-48 hours. We suggest you avoid any make up for the remainder of the day following the treatment, however any redness can easily be covered the next day with a mineral makeup. Using the provided hyaluronic acid after the procedure can help reduce inflammation.
